Miles Aldridge (b. 1964, UK) is best known for the technicolor dream-like worlds he creates and the glamorous, beautiful women who inhabit them. Aldridge creates ultra-cinematic images, drawing inspiration from film directors such as David Lynch and Derek Jarman as well as the psychedelic graphic design of his father, Alan Aldridge.

Born in London, Aldridge studied illustration at Central St. Martins and worked as a music video director before officially starting his career as a fashion photographer in 1993. Within six months of his first assignment, a portrait of the playwright Christopher Hampton, Aldridge was shooting covers for W Magazine. Since then he has worked with British Vogue, Numéro, The New York Times, and the The New Yorker, amongst others.
